Olympic Athlete Visit

Year 3 had an amazing time at Hillend yesterday. They found newts whilst pond dipping, tried to light fires during bushcraft, built dens for Raymond the gnome and developed their team work skills.

Everyone slept well last night. We had a delicious cooked breakfast and are now out doing our activities (despite the rain!) See you later.

What better way to end an action-packed day than with a sing-song and marshmallows around the fire! Year 4 are winding down in their bedrooms, ready for day 2 tomorrow.

Big Toddle

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the Big Toddle this afternoon.  We had lots of fun and particularly enjoyed the picnic afterwards!

Den Day in Red Kites Class

The children in Red Kites had a great time building, changing and adapting their dens, adding many extra details such as a cooking area. One group created a cafe giving out food to help people, and another group was very resourceful making rope from torn pieces of material because they didn't have any string!
