Swallows Class Science Oxford Visit

The Swallows had a great time learning about robotics and programming. We used 'Python' language to create our own codes and sent these to a 'Micro Bit' before attaching it to a robot buggy to test whether our programming worked.

KS1 Science Oxford Visit

We loved our Science Oxford visit, and learning about how the Great Fire of London spread so quickly. The green fire was our favourite part.

Fire Service Visit

The Hedgehogs were lucky enough to have a visit from the Fire Service last week. They learned all about how to contact the Fire Brigade, and to watch the 'turntable ladder in action. Thank you to Mr Critchley for organising this for us.

New goal

We are very pleased to be able to confirm that we have today had installed a KS2 Goal Unit in memory of Sarah Barratt.  This is a wonderful tribute to Sarah given her love of sport and has been funded by the donations given in her memory.

Hares Class - earthquake structures

Hares class enjoyed making structures to withstand earthquakes. We thought about which shapes were needed in order to make the most effective building. We tested them using jelly! Can you guess which structure was the best?

Hedgehogs trip continued

Hedgehogs Sutton Courtenay trip

Hedgehogs had a fantastic trip, and learned a lot about how to keep bears healthy in the wild! We found out that bears need: food, water, oxygen and shelter, and then made sure our teddies had all of these things by completing a variety of activities.
