Micro Habitats

Red Kites had great fun exploring the school grounds in search of micro habitats today. We found all sorts of creatures living under logs, in leaf litter, under old tree bark and even making homes underneath soggy cardboard. Can you spot the eggs we found?

The foxes were very excited to return after the bank holiday weekend to see how much their caterpillars had grown! We wonder how big they will be in a weeks time.

House Points!

Many congratulations to the Red Team (Stonor) for collecting the most 'Independence' tokens last term, with a grand total of 123! The Green team (Harman) were close behind with 121 tokens, followed by the Blues (Horne) with 110 and Yellows (Stone) with 96. Children across the school worked really hard on increasing their levels of independence, from working on their own, to taking responsibility for their own learning.

This term, the children will be working on their self-motivation and perseverance skills. Keep your eye out for your children coming home with wrist bands celebrating their achievements!
