St George's Day Celebrations
A huge thank you to everyone who came in to Foundation Stage this afternoon, to celebrate St George's Day with us. The children have had a fantastic day learning about the story of St George, making scones and cucumber sandwiches, as well as flags and bunting.

Planting trees for the future
Key Stage One and Year 6 launched an exciting project last Friday afternoon: planting trees around the school grounds!
We worked in small groups to dig holes for the numerous saplings we received from the Woodland Trust, including cherry, silver birch and rowan.
Everyone agreed this is a fantastic legacy for Year 6 to leave behind when they move to their secondary schools, as well as an exciting project for the younger children to watch and care for over the coming months and years.
